Here are examples of creative rituals. All rituals are adapted to meet individual needs and desires.
1. Baby naming. This ritual was created to celebrate the contribution of male and female attributes to the essence of the baby, and to have “covenanting” rituals that join the baby to the Jewish people.
2. Wedding. This ritual was created to acknowledge the traditional aspects of a Jewish wedding without the reference to a supernatural God.
3. Putting the past behind. This ritual was created for someone, who after defying the odds and beating serious, usually terminal illnesses, continued to suffer. It could be used upon divorce, upon loss of employment, or any occasion to signify, acknowledge, commemorate and put the past where it belongs, so the participant can be freed up to move on.
